The set-up
We have four yurts, a tipi and house truck - providing accommodation for up to 15 people. And you can also bring one or two tents of your own.
We have a Garden Kitchen surrounded by pick-your-own herbs, a 6m x 12m marquee, an art room and a garden banquet table. All our accommodations are furnished and have comfortable beds. We supply linen and towels.
The idea
Okuti Garden is a gathering place. We have set out to create lovely spaces for you to use for celebrating, learning, relaxing and playing. We are very flexible, allowing you to use different features in different ways.
The Garden is designed to be both productive and beautiful. Living structures, gazebos and tree circles create a magical feel to the place. It's all about atmosphere.

Weddings
We love weddings. However Okuti Garden is not a suitable venue for loud, late-night parties and our facilities don't allow for large numbers. So these days we are only offering the place for very small 'micro-weddings' with no more than 20 guests. Actually, this can be a great, low-stress option that's all about the beauty of a small gathering of your closest friends and whanau. Please contact us if you think this might be for you.
